On the road again...
After Saturday, I know what Donkey in Shrek 2 felt like... "Are we there yet?"
It's my second work trip to the states. I'm over for six weeks this time, but unfortunately, Heather had to remain behind :( Mom Doyle is visiting for 2 weeks, and then Heath goes to PE for easter (a friend is getting married), so she's gonna be fairly busy. But the guys at GCI have promised to look after her for me, so there's not too much to be worries about, although I do miss her something terrible.
About feeling like Donkey, though... I flew over on Delta this time, while last time was SAA. Lets just say I think the plane was something out of the Rindepest! No in-seat entertainment! And I was stuck in the middle of the middle isle! Thank goodness I had brought my Christmas present from my wife, "Project Showdown" by Ted Dekker, with, cause I finished in the flight over. On the plus side, the Delta food was better than SAA. Guess it depends what u are looking for :P
I'm sharing the apartment (same apartment Heath and I stayed in when we were here in Sept 06) with one of my work colleagues. He's made supper for us the last few nights. I'm rather impressed with his cooking skills. Although I am looking forward to my first Texas Roadhouse meal :P
