Bloem time....

I can't believe it's that time at last. Heath and I are off to the Bloemfontein LTT tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to this, getting input from the apostolic team, and worshiping with like 4000 other christians. Also a time time to meet up with old friends and to make new ones. I can't wait to let all you faithful readers in on the inside scoop of the conference while i'm there.

ciao for now

P.S. Fernando Alonso needs 6 points to become the 2005 F1 Wolrd champion! Go Alonso.

Why do bad things happen to good people?

I was reading Liddie's blog this morning and nearly cried. I don't know how people can do that to each other, let alone parents to their kids. Why does God, who loves us, allow these things to happen? I know it is not His will, and a whole thing about choice and stuff (very theological isn't it, Heath would have a field-day with me). It still makes me sad when it seems that evil gets the upper hand.

But as sad as I am, i'm also excited, when I hear about how forgiveness has taken place, and a family has been re-united. I don't believe this is possible without the amazing hand of our Father God working in the lives of the people involved.

Liddie, we will be praying for you and your family. God bless

Halfway through the workweek!

Hooray, it's nearly time for the weekend again. And Heath and I are off to Bloemfontein next week for the NCMI South African LTT!

But in the meanwhile, Heath is in Cape Town and i'm here all on my lonesome. Suppose it serves me right for leaving her here last week while I was off having fun!

Durban pictures

I've predated this blog, otherwise things would look a little out of order. Consider it one of my little irks.

Here are some pictures from my recent trip to Durbs.

This is Justin and Hanna, two very dear friends, who spend the day with me and showed me around.

Climbing trees in the Durban Botanic Gardens...

...some are more adept at it than others....

...especially when they feel so at home :p

Thanks for a wonderful time guys.

Vodacom 1-MTN 0

Mtn and vodacom are presenting their current and future offerings to up this morning. At the moment vodacom is definitely one up on the competition. I'm not saying that either is actually better, but vodacom had a much more interesting presentation. Mtn is helping of (cellphone predictive text ain't working too well!) fall asleep!

.....I'm back [I hope :P ]

I know, I know, it's been like 6 weeks since I put anything up here. My apologies to all my faithful readers :P. I'm in the Drakenburg at the moment at a conference (pics to follow), and listening to some "interesting" talks.

I Played in the conference golf day yesterday with one of my professors and 2 fellow students. We had an absolute ball, and all had very good games, but that didn't help us get into the prizes :( At least we're getting like 6 course meals, breakfast, lunch and supper!

I'm waiting for Craig O and Marco to download their photo's before I upload them for you all to enjoy. It is so beautiful here. These huge mountains and fantastic scenery. The day we arrived, there was a herd of about 20 Blesbok 5 meters from our Chalet!

Will keep you updated (we hope!). ciao
